One of the first lessons from spirit is to release the expectation of what you think you need to hear. Spirit operates from a vantage point that transcends our earthly perspective. Today I feel called to share a few thoughts about grief. 

The thing about grief is that it never really goes away...

Life is forever changed. In the moment of loss, we are catapulted into an entirely new world, new frequency, and what feels like a new dimension. 

We somehow have to find a way to understand and learn this new life. This new version of self. 

The other thing about grief is that no one really knows the true severity and intensity of your pain... 

They can imagine, they can empathize, and they can commiserate.

But just like you won't fully know the pain they might...

I knew I was going to pull this card. What I didn’t know was it was going to turn into a long blog post.

With so many people around me losing loved ones so often lately, naturally I’ve had a lot of spirit around as well.  

If I know you, there is a very good chance your loved one has popped in for me at least once. But often more. If I don’t know you, but you are drawn to this space, there is also a good chance your loved one’s spirit helped to bring you here. Maybe it’s simply to read this blog today and you will find healing in any of these words. Maybe it’s to connect and work one on one together. Whatever it is- it’s usually divinely orchestrated. 

I don’t reach out to you and tell you this, because that goes against my integrity and training as a medium.

When I first began my Witchy magic making journey I started collecting crystals just to collect them. That's what new witches do right?

Some of those stones I would instinctively feel called to, although I may not have known why. Others I may have been drawn to because they were visually appealing. 

For a while I just sort of carried them around in my purse or put them in a bowl, or on a shelf. Eventually I began to learn more about them, used them with spell and ritual work, set intentions for them, and I ended up taking several courses about crystals and crystal healing.

Until I learned to energetically connect and communicate with them. I learned how to check in and ask if they want to come home with me, or work with me. I was taught to ask if they were ethically mined.
